Sticky tape for monitoring the presence of pests occurring on ornamental trees and fruit trees. Double-sided sticky tape attached around the tree trunk becomes a mechanical barrier for pests such as winter moth, mottled umber, dock sawfly etc. These pests climb tree trunks in order to complete their development process. A barrier made of tape covered with glue stops them and prevents further proliferation. It also allows for determining the moment of their occurrence and estimating their population size.
